I think that can be partly due to the sheer size as a 30" woofer would need a very LARGE enclosure, and not many people or wives would want a 20-30 cu.ft. boxes in their living room.:D Thankfully I don't have that problem.:coffeedrinker:Quote:

Of course they can go in a "small box" only 500 liters. About the same size as my old boxes.

I was building my Altec 414, 806/811s at that time, and I want a super tweeter. The JBL 076/077 super tweeters were way out of my price range, so I settled for a set of EV T350.
Have you seen the prices lately you could almost get 2 pair of JBL's for 1 pair of T350's nowadays.The last 4 pair of T350's I have seen sell for over $700 a pair.Even singles are selling for around $350-$400Quote:

From what I can remember the T350 beat the JBL 076 ring radiator hands down, nothing flat. But it was quite comparable to the 077, but the price difference is what swung it for me at that time.

OG, Thanks for the info, I've been looking for a set of those, the T350's Steve Mac said they were very sweet sounding with like a 511E/288 combo which I haven't had the pleasure of hearing yet,so I've been trying to pick up a pair but at $700/pair I had to sit on the sidelines for abit.
